FAQsWhy work with an experienced Career Coach?
Working with a career development practitioner helps people to increase awareness of the opportunities open to them.
This helps them to recognise their own strengths, abilities, preferences, areas for development and growth so as to be able to set realistic and achievable goals. It helps people of all ages to identify roles that suit their interests, aptitudes and outlook and which are demanding and fulfilling according to individual needs and circumstances.
The focus of a career coaching session is on putting people in the best position to make their own decisions about their options in relation to work and learning. Activities aim to broaden horizons and can include:- discussing and advising on personal development; researching available options; guiding career action planning; demonstrating the use of appropriate decision making and other techniques; preparation for applying for jobs and attending interviews.
