Sarah Dale

Sarah is a chartered occupational psychologist, an accredited coach and is a member of xué’s coaching team.

As a psychologist and accredited coach (through the Society for Coaching Psychology), she has designed a personalised coaching programme which is particularly aimed at helping managers and professionals deal with uncertainty and change.

With a business background as a chartered accountant with PwC, Sarah takes a pragmatic and commercially relevant approach to her work with clients, which includes training and facilitation of groups as well as 360 feedback.

 

  • Coaching experience – a wide range of professional people have benefited from her coaching programme including architects, headteachers, doctors, higher education managers and leaders and local government service leaders 
  • Psychometric qualifications – Sarah holds Level A and B certificates from the British Psychological Society and is registered to use MBTI (step one) and 16PF 
  • Writing – Sarah has an interest in both creative writing and writing about the psychological issues around change and uncertainty. She writes a blog and is currently writing a book, named Keeping Your Spirits Up: lessons in morale and energy from the Creating Focus coaching programme 
  • Training and facilitation – Sarah has a great deal of training experience in a wide variety of organisations. This includes the Flamingo programme, which she worked on in association with Dawn Reeves and which was shortlisted for an Academy of Sustainable Communities award 


Sarah is a member of the British Psychological Society, the Special Group in Coaching Psychology and an accredited member of the Society for Coaching Psychology. Away from her roles as psychologist and parent she is also a primary school governor.

Sarah’s driving passion is to help people make more sense of their working lives and the context they live in . . . in order to make better decisions, find work more rewarding and maybe even enjoy themselves more. She has a particular interest in xue’s holistic approach to well-being in its widest sense and aims to bring an optimistic (and realistic) energy to help others nurture that well-being.
