Nicky Saunderson
Nicky has a background in recruitment and training. She is a member of the xué assessment team with her expertise in psychometric assessment and is also supporting the coaching team.
Within the context of recruitment and training, Nicky's particular focus has been in the area of assessment centre design and delivery for both the public and private sectors. She has extensive experience in developing candidate attraction strategies, recruitment process design, assessment centre exercise design and delivering assessor training. Over the last 7 years, either on an interim or a freelance basis, she has focused on helping organisations to deliver the highest quality recruitment processes and is committed to helping them develop their in-house skills in this area.
- Recruitment process design experience: in a wide range of areas and in the support of one off or on-going recruitment campaigns, internal re-structures, start-up organisations
- Assessment centre design experience: from Chief Executive and director level, through to specialist knowledge areas such as accountancy, HR and IT
- Training experience: helping organisations to develop their in-house skills in recruitment and selection, in particular interview technique and assessor skills
- Psychometric assessment experience: the use of ability, personality and motivation instruments in supporting recruitment and selection. Training in instruments including: SHL, Saville Consulting and OPP ability tests; OPQ32; Wave Professional Styles, NEO-PIR, Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), Hogan Development Survey (HDS) and Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI), SHL and A&DC work sampling exercises
Nicky is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and has a Certificate of Competence at Level B in psychometric assessment.
