Maureen is a member of the xué coaching team specialising in career coaching, personal development and progression planning for both individuals and organisations.

Her background is in career guidance and careers education, supporting people in assessing their potential, identifying their options and carrying out the actions needed to achieve their goals and to overcome barriers to progression and advancement. Working both in the public and private sectors, her portfolio includes support both for individuals and organisations for career review and planning strategies, job search skills, succession planning and training needs analysis.

 

  • Career guidance experience: in the public sector as Chief Executive of a Careers Company with successful delivery both to young people, parents/carers, education, community organisations and adults looking for career change
  • Expertise in career planning: includes job search skills, CV preparation, interview skills and preparation, career review and progression planning including action planning, managing career change and transition, including next steps and retirement planning
  • Career coaching: with adults including head teachers and senior personnel in education and the public sector
  • Leadership of career guidance organisations: including at Chief Executive level
  • Quality Management experience: as an Ofsted Inspector for Connexions, EQFM assessor, consultant for ALI inspections for nextstep partnerships and within the wider context of 14-19 context
  • Extensive knowledge: of career and progression resources and toolkits both paper and web based
  • Training experience: in a wide range of areas related to career planning, including job search skills, career review and career planning, change management and transition, retirement planning
  • Research and evaluation skills

 

Maureen has worked with Sue Spencer- Harrison to develop the career coaching team within xué.
