Total wellbeing is not just about getting the balance right between, physical and mental health or between life and work – what is often called work/life balance - but also about ensuring we have a balance across all aspects of our life.
When looking at our total wellbeing we need to have a balance between our:
- Economic wellbeing
- Psychological wellbeing
- Social wellbeing
- Emotional wellbeing
- Physical wellbeing
- Spiritual wellbeing
The 'right' balance between these different aspects of our life will differ from person to person. However, when all these aspects of our life come together in what is 'the right balance for me', we will feel at our most powerful and energised.
